Today was definitely one of those days that when it is over all that you seriously wonder what else could have gone wrong. Now I don’t mind rain, but I do not like is pouring into my classroom. There is a direct flow of water that comes into my room from the porch outside…so under the door pours the water…and my students become totally distracted. They can see the water coming in under the door and must announce it to me while I am teaching. I was reading them the bible lesson at the time…did I ever mention that I hate tin roofs? You can’t hear anything when it rains really hard…you are straining your voice to be heard over the rain and then your kids start yelling and laughing because of the water coming in under the door so you have to yell to be heard over them and by then you are shouting really loud, but it only sounds like a whisper…do that for an hour and see what you feel like in the end. So between the consistent announcements of “teacher look at the water!” and moving the students who’s desks were in the back and the drowning downpour of water…my kids learned about Lucifer’s jealousy of God the Son…and they completed their worksheets, and then they cleaned up the room…so that I could give them coins for good behavior. And then I sent them home…that was when I got to clean up the water still on the floor…we had a small river of water…and I had to sweep it out of the room, and then I had to pack up my stuff and then Marla came into my room and we walked down to the office to get our pay, all $90.00 worth…We get paid $200.00 per month…so $100 at the beginning and $85 to $90 at the end of the month (for internet charges)
Once back at our apartment, we waited for the trucks to take us shopping, we didn’t know when they were going to leave…while we waited I collapsed on the couch and promptly fell asleep. At 4:15 I was informed that the truck left without telling us. So I was like…well I felt like sleeping anyway and then fell back to sleep and slept for the next two hours…what can I say? My kids drained me of all energy that I might have had at the beginning of the day.
So hear I am, down in the teacher’s workroom with at least seven other teachers…they are all working and I am surfing the web and generally enjoying myself…cause I finished all of that a long time ago…like during the time my students had to write sentences for being too loud during lunch and leaving the classroom without asking teacher (that’s me!) I am waiting for my friends in the US to wake up…so that I can talk to them…yep another late night, but I am getting used to it. Tomorrow is the first day of September…so to all of you “Rabbit Rabbit”

hey, that's not fair! you can't rabbit rabbit us when we can't rabbit rabbit you back! How does that work anyways? Can you even rabbit rabbit us when it's not sept. first for us? Because we're still on august's luck, so you can't steal september's... Maybe that means that we can rabbit rabbit you and you can't get us back! :P
