September 1: Rabbit Rabbit

The inside of the church...it is actually very nice...

I don’t really remember much about Friday. Because Fridays are always a blur, you don’t really remember much about it by the time bedtime comes and you are slowing down from your really long day.
Class was a nightmare once again, I had students falling asleep in class, I was loosing my voice, and I had to do chapel…I love being told that I have to do something the morning of…I was like “you know a schedule would have been really nice…thanks for skipping my classroom.” But it did turn out good in the end with Jenny helping me with song service and Sam doing the talk, all worked out…except my students were all loud and wouldn’t stop talking…I kid you not, we only went to one recess…my kids were so awful that I took away their lunch recess of 30 minutes and their afternoon recess of 15 minutes…when the day (school day) was over I collapsed into my chair and let out a sigh. It was only 2 o’clock and I was so tired. But I had so much left to do…but I decided that grading and planning could wait until Sunday, I was sick of school. So I went back to my apartment and cleaned the apartment with Marla, we were going to go to the store (cause we were left on Thursday) but the trucks were gone again…we had to wait until like 4:00 before we could go and when we left we had Joan driving, Raz, Marla, Alex, Mark, Mikie, and myself…First they wanted ice cream and everyone got some except me…being lactose intolerant isn’t all that fun sometimes. Then we went to the next store and wandered around in it for awhile…Raz, Joan, and I made fun of each other for awhile…well actually we made fun of Raz…but I can’t remember who won those arguments at the end of our shopping trip.
When we got back to our apartment we enjoy just sitting and relaxing, Joan made supper while Marla and I did something…I can’t remember what Marla and I did…probably just sitting on the couch doing nothing while Joan slaved in the kitchen. Becky was sleeping and by the time vespers came we were very tired, but to vespers we went.
Vespers wasn’t bad, but being tired and having someone talk to you like you were six can get very old after awhile…I was glad when it was over. But Sabbath was here and we were all very thankful…Sleep said I!

Hi Emmy! Nice blog! I like the fish you have on the wall in your classroom. It must have taken a lot of time to paint all of those. How did you figure out how to do a blog? I've always wanted to know.
